Nowadays, whether students should wear uniforms at school has become a controversial issue. While some people argue that students should choose their own clothes, I strongly believe that school uniforms bring more benefits.

First of all, uniforms create equality among students. When everyone wears the same clothes, it is impossible to tell who comes from a rich or poor family. Consequently, students from low-income families do not feel embarrassed about their appearance, and they can focus on studying instead of worrying about fashion. For example, at my high school, uniforms helped students from different backgrounds become close friends easily.

Secondly, uniforms save time and money. Students do not have to spend time every morning deciding what to wear, and parents only need to buy two or three sets of uniforms each year, which is much cheaper than buying fashionable clothes every season.

Admittedly, opponents claim that uniforms limit students' freedom of expression. However, I think students can still express their personalities through their hobbies, talents and achievements rather than their clothes.

In conclusion, for the reasons mentioned above, I believe that wearing uniforms at school is beneficial for both students and their families.
